My sister and I go "way back" as most sisters do. But unlike many sisters we have always been close. We count each other among our greatest blessings and cherish the memories of our journey together through life. We are thankful for our time together and the impact we have had on each other's lives. Did you know?....
We're outdoor-type girls and loved photo ops at an early age. We used to camp a lot when we were little. We think this photo was taken in Greer, in the White Mountains of Arizona. When you see the full view, you can see the patches on our jeans that I'm sure were hand-me-downs from some of our older cousins. We look like little waifs, but we were happy little waifs! We had a girlfriends' cruise for my 50th birthday and Tina put this picture in a beautiful frame and it was my gift. I cried when I opened it and it still touches me every time I look at it. We also took a silly photo on the deck of the ship holding hands just as we are in this... not in hand-me-downs but still with messy hair from the breeze...PLUS a few wrinkles! I was squinting in that one too, come to think of it! ;-)
Til' next time... Karen

A Tale of Two Sisters
My sister and I have always been close♥. We count each other among our greatest blessings and cherish the memories of our journey together through life. We are thankful for our time together and the impact we have had on each other's lives. Did you know?...
My real name is Kristine. I am often asked why I am called Tina. Well, amongst the many things throughout my life that I have to thank Karen for, the name Tina is the first! You see Karen, the first born, was only 17 months old when I was born and I've been told she could not pronounce my name. She quickly dubbed me Tina and it's stayed with me my whole life. We were only the start of a large brood of sisters...more on that to follow!
Fondly,
Tina

She's looking at me fondly...right? |
